Change Hostname

If the hostname has been changed, Kyocera Control tries to use the old hostname because of existing entries in the database - very likely the WebAdmin will not start anymore and a change of database entries will not be possible via the interface.

In this case, the hostname must be changed in all LocalService.config configuration files (some LocalService.configs contain multiple entries that include the hostname). Search the system for files named (exactly) LocalService.config. Files that still have a version number in their name, for example, do not need to be changed.

Also change the hostname in the Server area of the system area, see System Areas.

If necessary, change the hostname for the workflow files (if they are stored locally on the renamed server, see Workflow Files (Network shares)).

The hostname is stored in the data repository of RabbitMQ. RabbitMQ must be uninstalled and reinstalled.

• Remove the checkmark for RabbitMQ in the full installer (all other checkmarks must remain, information such as system users in the further course of the installation wizard need not be set).
• Restart the server.
• Rename or delete the original RabbitMQ installation directory
• Add the checkmark for RabbitMQ again in the full installer (all other checkmarks must remain, information such as system users in the further course of the installation wizard need not be set).
